ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new digital tool designed to help monitor the mental health of patients who are hospitalized for serious mental health conditions, such as schizophrenia, mood disorders, and anxiety. The researchers have created a special questionnaire that patients will complete using their smartphones. This questionnaire will help track changes in their mental state during their hospital stay, and it will be used alongside wristwatch sensors that measure physical health indicators. The goal is to see how well this digital monitoring tool works and how it can assist doctors in making better treatment decisions.

To participate in the trial, individuals must be adults who are willingly hospitalized at the Sheba Medical Center's psychiatric wards and have a smartphone. However, those with certain conditions, such as significant physical illnesses or difficulties with reading and writing in Hebrew, may not be eligible. Participants can expect to complete the questionnaire daily for two weeks and wear a smartwatch that collects health data. The study aims to learn more about how this digital approach can improve patient care and whether it meets the needs of both patients and healthcare providers.
