ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, called the Capillary-Venous Paired Collection, is looking to explore how well a new testing system works by comparing it to standard laboratory tests. Participants in the study will donate two small blood samples taken from a finger prick (called capillary samples) while also providing leftover blood samples from their regular blood tests, known as Complete Blood Count (CBC) tests. The trial aims to see if the new system can deliver results similar to those from traditional blood testing methods. It’s important to note that the results from this study are for research purposes only and will not affect the medical care or treatment of the participants.

To be eligible for this trial, participants must be at least 18 years old and currently receiving treatment for cancer, such as chemotherapy or immunotherapy. They also need to be scheduled for a routine CBC test as part of their regular care. Participation involves only the time needed to collect the blood samples, and there will be no follow-up after that. This study is currently not recruiting participants yet, but it is open to all genders. If you or someone you know fits this description and is interested, it would be a chance to contribute to important cancer research.
