ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a specific surgery called Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL) affects the kidneys in adults who have kidney stones. The study will use different imaging techniques, like color Doppler ultrasound, to see how the structure and function of the kidneys change after the surgery. The goal is to better understand the effects of this procedure on kidney health.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be adults aged 18 and older who have kidney stones and are planning to have the PCNL surgery. However, some people won't be able to participate. This includes those who have had previous kidney stone surgery, have certain kidney problems, or are pregnant. If you join the study, you'll be monitored after your surgery to see how your kidneys respond, which could help improve future treatments for kidney stones. The trial is currently not yet recruiting participants.
