ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how the use of walking aids, like canes or walkers, affects people who are recovering from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Researchers want to see if these aids help improve the condition by looking at different tests and images before and after using the walking devices. The goal is to understand whether these aids can help in rehabilitation.
To participate in the study, you need to be between 65 and 74 years old, currently receiving rehabilitation in a hospital, and have a new need for a walking aid for at least one month. It's important that you can use at least one of your arms. If you’re younger than 18, have used a walking aid in the past six months, or have trouble understanding instructions in French, you won't be able to join the trial. If you decide to participate, you'll be asked to complete some questionnaires and undergo evaluations to track your progress with the walking aids.
