ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the health risks faced by workers in a superphosphate fertilizer factory, particularly focusing on their exposure to harmful dust and gases. The researchers want to find out what specific health issues these workers may experience, especially related to their lungs and hearing. They also aim to understand how much workers know about these risks and how they can better protect themselves through education and the use of protective gear.
To participate in this study, workers must have been employed at the factory for over a year. However, those who already had serious breathing or hearing problems before starting work will not be included. Participants will benefit from a health education program that will teach them about the dangers they face and how to use protective equipment effectively. This trial is currently not recruiting participants, but it hopes to improve the overall health and safety of workers in the industry.
