ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at a new way to treat carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), a condition that causes pain, numbness, and weakness in the hand due to pressure on a nerve in the wrist. Researchers want to compare two treatments: one using a substance called hyaluronic acid (HA) and the other using a sugar solution called 5% dextrose. The goal is to see which treatment works better for relieving symptoms of CTS.

To participate in this study, you need to be between 20 and 80 years old and have been diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome. Unfortunately, if you are pregnant, have certain health conditions like diabetes, or have had previous surgery for CTS, you won't be eligible. If you join the trial, you can expect to receive one of the two treatments and be monitored for how well it helps your symptoms. This trial is currently looking for participants, so it's a good opportunity to explore new treatment options for CTS.
