ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how two different methods of a pain relief technique called an adductor canal block can help patients after knee replacement surgery. The goal is to see which method works better for controlling pain and improving the ability to move around comfortably after the surgery. The trial is currently recruiting participants who are between 18 and 85 years old and are scheduled to undergo a knee replacement procedure.
To be eligible for this study, participants should not have certain health issues, such as severe cognitive impairment or specific medical conditions that could complicate the surgery. They should also not be taking certain medications, like blood thinners. If you decide to take part in this trial, you can expect to receive either of the two methods of pain relief during your surgery and be monitored for how well it works. This could be a great opportunity to help improve pain management techniques for future patients undergoing similar procedures.
