ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a special type of therapy called Culturally Adapted Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CA-CBT) to help earthquake survivors in Türkiye who are feeling very distressed or depressed. The goal is to see if this therapy can reduce their mental health struggles and improve their overall well-being. This trial is currently looking for participants who are 18 years or older, have experienced the earthquake, and are showing significant psychological distress, as indicated by a score of 16 or higher on a specific distress scale.
If you or someone you know qualifies, participants can expect to receive therapy sessions designed to address their unique experiences and feelings after the earthquake. It’s important to note that individuals with severe mental disorders or those who are feeling suicidal will not be eligible to participate. This trial is an opportunity for survivors to receive support and potentially improve their mental health in a structured setting.
