ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding how fear of movement, known as kinesiophobia, affects people with chronic low back pain. Chronic low back pain is pain that lasts for more than 12 weeks and can seriously impact daily activities and overall quality of life. Many individuals with this condition may avoid certain movements or activities because they fear it will worsen their pain. The study aims to explore how factors like age, gender, body weight, education, and job type relate to kinesiophobia and how this fear influences the quality of life for those suffering from chronic low back pain.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be between 18 and 75 years old and must have mechanical lower back pain lasting more than 12 weeks, with a pain score of 4 or higher on a standard scale. However, individuals with certain conditions, such as inflammatory back pain, cancer, or recent injuries affecting the back, cannot participate. If you join the study, you will help researchers better understand the connection between fear of movement and chronic low back pain, which could lead to improved treatments and support for others facing similar challenges.
