ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how well certain types of ultrasound measurements can predict the risk of preterm labor in pregnant women. Researchers want to see if using advanced 3D imaging techniques to measure cervical volume and blood flow can help identify pregnancies that might be at risk for delivering early. They will also compare these 3D measurements to the more traditional 2D cervical length measurements.
To participate in this study, women aged 18 to 35 who are pregnant with one baby and between 18 to 26 weeks along may be eligible. However, those with multiple pregnancies, a history of cervical surgery, or certain other medical conditions may not qualify. If you decide to take part, you can expect to undergo some ultrasound scans to gather the necessary information. It's important to know that this trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there may be some time before it begins.
