ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a new digital program called True North Peer Navigation (TrueNTH-PN) designed to support adolescents and young adults (AYA) who have recently completed treatment for cancer, specifically lymphoma, breast cancer, testicular cancer, or sarcoma. The trial aims to help these young people navigate the challenges they face after treatment, such as emotional support, access to information, and planning for their future. By using a digital app and training peer navigators, the goal is to improve the care and support available to AYA cancer survivors, making it easier for them to manage their health and life after cancer.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be between 18 and 40 years old, have been diagnosed with one of the specified cancers between the ages of 15 and 39, and have completed their initial treatment within the last six months. Participants should also be comfortable using the internet and able to read and speak English. Throughout the study, participants can expect to engage with the app, receive support from trained peer navigators, and contribute to the development of a program aimed at helping others in similar situations. This trial not only seeks to enhance the support for young cancer survivors but also aims to empower them to take charge of their health and future.
