ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of two different exercise programs on adolescents with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA), a condition that causes joint pain and inflammation in children and teens. One group of participants will follow a personalized exercise program guided by a physiotherapist, which includes in-person and online sessions. The other group will use a mobile app to follow a similar exercise routine. Both groups will be monitored over 12 weeks to see how well each program helps improve physical fitness, walking, and balance.
To participate in this study, you must be between 12 and 18 years old and have been diagnosed with JIA for at least six months. The trial is open to all genders, and participants will receive smartwatches to help track their physical activity throughout the study. This research aims to find effective ways to encourage exercise in young people with JIA, which can help manage their symptoms and improve their overall health.
