ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how anesthesiologists in France manage a procedure called rapid sequence intubation, which is a method used to quickly place a breathing tube in patients who need general anesthesia. The researchers want to see how well doctors are following the latest expert guidelines and how they handle problems related to blood pressure and heart rhythms that can happen during this process. They will be looking at various practices, equipment, and medications used, as well as any complications that arise within the first 10 minutes after intubation.
To participate in this study, individuals must be at least 18 years old and scheduled for a procedure requiring general anesthesia where rapid sequence intubation will be used. However, people who have certain conditions, such as severe breathing difficulties or low blood pressure before surgery, will not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to have your health information monitored closely during and shortly after the intubation process to help improve safety and care in the future.
