ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how certain questionnaires can help understand the beliefs and feelings of patients with chronic neck pain. Specifically, the researchers want to see how reliable and sensitive the Turkish versions of the Fear-Avoidance Beliefs Questionnaire, Tampa Kinesiophobia Scale, and Pain Catastrophizing Scale are for people experiencing non-specific neck pain. They aim to find out the smallest change in scores on these questionnaires that would be meaningful for patients and useful in both clinical practice and research.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be between 18 and 65 years old and have been diagnosed with chronic neck pain lasting over 12 weeks without a specific cause. They should also be able to communicate well in Turkish and be willing to participate by signing a consent form. However, individuals with certain health conditions, like systemic diseases or recent major health events, or those who have received specific treatments for their neck pain in the past, will not be included. Participants in the study can expect to contribute to important research that could help improve understanding and treatment of chronic neck pain in the future.
