ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a type of kidney cancer known as clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) in patients with a genetic condition called von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) syndrome. The researchers want to understand how different tumors can vary from each other and even within the same tumor. They will use advanced imaging techniques and genetic analysis to gather detailed information about these tumors, which may help improve treatment options in the future.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to have VHL syndrome and must have at least three kidney tumors that are larger than 3 centimeters and need to be surgically removed. The trial is currently recruiting participants of all genders and ages between 65 and 74 or 36 and 159. If you join this study, you can expect to undergo some imaging and tests to help researchers learn more about your tumors. This information could be valuable in the fight against kidney cancer and help guide future treatments for others with the condition.
