ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on creating a new simulation program to help nursing students learn how to safely give injections and administer medications. With the rise of online education due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many nursing students have struggled to get the hands-on practice they need to develop their skills. This program aims to use virtual scenarios that mimic real hospital environments, allowing students to practice drug administration techniques without putting patient safety at risk. It's important for these students to gain experience in handling different medication doses so they can make quick and accurate decisions in real clinical situations.
To participate in this trial, you need to be a first-time student enrolled in the Fundamentals of Nursing II Course, have access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone, and have internet access. You must also be willing to volunteer for the study. However, if you've already graduated from a health-related program or have prior experience with basic nursing skills, you won't be eligible to join. This trial represents an exciting opportunity for nursing students to enhance their learning through innovative technology and improve their readiness for real-life patient care.
