ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on helping young veterans who use e-cigarettes and want to quit. The researchers aim to improve an existing counseling program that has worked for traditional tobacco users, making it suitable for young adults who vape. They will look at what makes it hard for these young veterans to stop using e-cigarettes, as well as what might help them access support services. Participants will have the chance to try out a new version of this counseling program through video calls or phone calls to see how easy and acceptable it is for them.
To be eligible for the trial, participants need to be between 18 and 30 years old, have been using e-cigarettes daily for at least six months, and be ready to start a quit program within 30 days. They must also have a smartphone or computer with a camera and internet access and be able to speak English. The trial is currently recruiting participants, so if you're a young veteran who meets these criteria and is interested in quitting vaping, this could be a great opportunity to get support.
