ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is testing a new online program designed to help older adults with coronary heart disease become more physically active. The study will involve 30 participants aged 65 and older who have recently had heart surgery. Over the course of 8 weeks, participants will use a web-based nursing intervention tailored to their needs, which aims to improve their physical activity levels, quality of life, and motivation to stay active. Researchers will be looking at how well the program works and how participants feel about it.
To be eligible for the trial, participants must be fluent in French, live in the greater Montreal area, and have access to the internet. They should also have had heart surgery about three months prior and not be involved in any other programs aimed at increasing physical activity during the study. This trial is a great opportunity for older adults who want to improve their health and stay active after heart surgery.
