ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how different social therapy methods can help improve outcomes for people with eating disorders, such as anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. Researchers want to see if providing education about social skills alone is effective, or if adding an interactive art activity makes a bigger difference in recovery. Participants will attend a total of eight sessions over 12 weeks, complete various assessments before and after the treatment, and have follow-up check-ins at 4, 8, and 12 months.

To be eligible for this study, participants need to meet certain criteria, including having a diagnosis of an eating disorder within the last year, like anorexia or bulimia. However, those who are currently in inpatient treatment or who are at risk for serious medical issues or suicide cannot participate. This trial is an important opportunity for individuals looking to improve their social functioning and overall well-being related to their eating disorder.
