ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different methods of pain relief after a common surgery called laparoscopic cholecystectomy, which is performed to remove the gallbladder due to gallstones. The researchers want to find out which method works better in helping patients manage pain after the surgery: the TAP block, a well-known technique, or the newer m-TAPA block. Both methods aim to provide effective pain control, making recovery more comfortable for patients.
To participate in this study, patients must be between 18 and 75 years old and are scheduled to have an elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy. However, those who have certain health conditions, allergies to pain medications, or infections near the injection site cannot take part. If eligible, participants can expect to receive one of the two pain relief techniques during their surgery and will be monitored to see how well it works for them. This trial is currently looking for volunteers to join.
