ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into how fear of movement, known as kinesiophobia, affects people with a condition called Femoroacetabular Impingement Syndrome (FAIS). FAIS can cause hip pain and discomfort, and the researchers want to understand how this fear might relate to patients' symptoms and overall health. By studying this relationship, they hope to improve care for those dealing with FAIS.
If you're between 18 and 65 years old and have been diagnosed with a specific type of FAIS called "cam" type, you might be eligible to participate. It's important that you haven't had any hip surgeries in the past year and that you're willing to fill out some forms to consent to the study. Participants can expect to share information about their health and feelings related to movement, helping researchers gain insights that could benefit others with similar issues. If you have a history of psychological conditions or other illnesses that could confuse the results, you may not be able to join this trial.
