ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is comparing two treatments for psoriasis vulgaris, a common skin condition that causes red, scaly patches on the skin. The study will look at how effective Botox and Tacrolimus are in helping patients with mild to moderate psoriasis. Psoriasis can significantly impact a person's quality of life, so finding effective treatments is very important.
To take part in the trial, patients should have a clinical diagnosis of mild to moderate psoriasis and must have stopped other systemic treatments or phototherapy for at least three months, and topical treatments for four weeks before joining. However, people with more severe forms of psoriasis, certain neurological conditions, or who are pregnant or breastfeeding cannot participate. The trial is not yet open for enrollment, but it aims to help improve treatment options for those living with psoriasis. Participants can expect to receive one of the two treatments and will be monitored for their response to therapy.
