ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a treatment called complex decongestive physiotherapy (CDP) on patients who have developed swelling in one leg after cancer surgery, a condition known as lymphedema. The goal is to see how this therapy impacts balance, body awareness (proprioception), and the ability to sense touch. This study is currently looking for participants aged 18 to 65 who have lymphedema in just one leg.
If you join the trial, you will receive the CDP treatment and be monitored for any changes in your balance and sensation. However, people with swelling in both legs, certain health conditions, or those who cannot communicate effectively may not be eligible to participate. This trial offers a chance to contribute to understanding how to improve quality of life for those dealing with lymphedema after cancer surgery.
