ClinConnect Summary
The EUREKA trial is studying a condition called AL amyloidosis, which is a rare disease where abnormal proteins build up in the body and can cause serious health issues. This trial aims to create a registry to collect information on new cases of AL amyloidosis from different medical centers across Europe. By gathering and sharing samples, researchers hope to better understand the disease and improve diagnosis and treatment using advanced technology and data analysis.
To be eligible for the trial, participants need to be at least 18 years old, have received a diagnosis of systemic AL amyloidosis, and have not yet started any treatment for the condition. Participants will be asked to sign an informed consent and will need to be willing to have follow-up visits at one of the participating centers. This is an important opportunity to contribute to research that could lead to better management of this disease for future patients.
