ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how different imaging techniques can help doctors assess heart problems caused by chemotherapy in cancer patients. Some cancer treatments can lead to heart issues, which might affect a patient's overall health and survival. The goal of the study is to find better ways to detect these heart problems early and to manage them effectively. This is especially important because heart issues can be a significant cause of death in cancer survivors, particularly in the first two years after treatment.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be at least 18 years old and scheduled to receive chemotherapy. However, people with certain heart conditions or those who have had prior chemotherapy treatments won’t be able to participate. If you join the trial, you'll undergo various imaging tests to monitor your heart health during your chemotherapy. This research is crucial because it aims to improve the care and outcomes for cancer patients who are at risk of heart problems due to their treatment.
