ClinConnect Summary

The Fit with Us Study is a clinical trial aimed at understanding the best ways to help people with mobility limitations become more active through a program that combines exercise videos, health coaching, and personalized support. This 32-week study will involve 257 participants who will have access to a library of online exercise videos and weekly wellness articles. Some participants will also receive coaching calls to help keep them motivated. If someone isn’t responding well to the initial program, they may receive additional live or group exercise training to better support their needs.

To qualify for the study, participants must be between 18 and 64 years old, have a permanent mobility impairment, and have internet access. They should also be comfortable communicating in English. Throughout the trial, participants will have the chance to share their experiences and provide feedback, ultimately helping researchers learn how to improve health coaching and exercise programs for those with mobility challenges. After completing the study, participants will have continued access to resources for an additional 16 weeks, allowing researchers to observe their ongoing activity and engagement.
