ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new tool that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help doctors better understand images taken during a procedure called colposcopy, which is used to check for changes in the cervix that could lead to cervical cancer. The goal is to create an algorithm, which is a kind of computer program, that can analyze these images and provide support to doctors when they are diagnosing patients. The study will compare the AI's results with the opinions of experienced doctors to see how well it works.
To be part of this trial, you need to be a woman aged 65 to 74 who has had a colposcopy with biopsies at a specific hospital between September 2022 and December 2023. You should also have a clear reason for why you had the colposcopy and have had your biopsy results determined. Additionally, the study requires that images from your colposcopy procedure are available. One important thing to note is that participants must be fluent in French, as the study will be conducted in that language. If you join the study, you can expect to contribute to important research that could improve the way cervical health is monitored in the future.
