ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying Gaming Disorder, which is a condition where individuals struggle to control their gaming habits, impacting their daily lives and relationships. Researchers want to understand how the brain works in people with this disorder, especially how it affects their ability to interact with others and manage their thoughts. The study will use various methods, including brain imaging and psychological assessments, to identify the underlying issues and develop better ways to help those affected by Gaming Disorder.
To participate, individuals aged 6 to 74 who have been clinically diagnosed with severe Gaming Disorder can apply. It's important that they have normal hearing and vision. However, people with other serious mental health issues or cognitive conditions will not be eligible. Participants can expect to engage in a series of assessments and interventions designed to improve their situation, which may include educational sessions, therapy, and other supportive measures. This trial aims to offer a tailored approach to treatment, helping to reduce the severity of Gaming Disorder and improve overall well-being.
