ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating the effects of progressive muscle relaxation exercises on women who experience premenstrual syndrome (PMS). The goal is to see if these exercises can help reduce PMS symptoms and improve emotional well-being. The study will take place at Siirt Training and Research Hospital from December 2023 to August 2024 and will include women aged 18 to 40 who have been diagnosed with PMS and are not currently using birth control pills.
To participate, women will need to volunteer and meet certain criteria, such as having a PMS score of 110 or higher and a regular menstrual cycle. Participants will complete some questionnaires before and after the relaxation exercises to help assess any changes in their symptoms and feelings. If you or someone you know fits these criteria and is interested in helping with this important research, this study could offer valuable insights into managing PMS.
