ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a skin condition called Bullous Pemphigoid (BP), which mainly affects older adults and can lead to serious health issues. The researchers want to understand how different types of BP impact treatment and long-term outcomes for patients. By looking back at the medical records of patients diagnosed with BP at Xijing Hospital, they will collect information about patients’ age, gender, health history, symptoms, and treatment responses. This information can help doctors better manage BP and improve care for patients in the future.

To be eligible for this study, participants must be diagnosed with Bullous Pemphigoid at Xijing Hospital and be between 0 and 100 years old, regardless of gender. They should have complete skin biopsy information and must not have received certain medications like steroids or immunosuppressants in the month prior to their diagnosis. If enrolled, participants can expect to contribute to valuable research that may benefit future patients with this condition.
