ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating the characteristics of common bile duct stones in patients who do not have any symptoms, also known as asymptomatic patients. The researchers want to understand how effective different treatment options are for these stones and how they may impact patients' quality of life. The trial is currently recruiting participants aged 65 to 74 who have been diagnosed with common bile duct stones through imaging tests, and those who agree to take part in the study.
Eligible participants will not be experiencing any symptoms related to the stones, such as fever or abdominal pain. They should not have a history of certain serious conditions, like pancreatobiliary cancer or severe heart or lung diseases, and they should not be pregnant or planning to become pregnant. If you join the study, you can expect to receive close monitoring and care related to your condition, and your experiences will help contribute to better understanding and treatment options for others with similar issues.
