ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is designed to explore how the timing and patterns of eating during pregnancy may affect blood sugar levels in women who are at risk of developing gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). The researchers want to understand if certain eating habits can help manage blood sugar and weight gain during pregnancy, which is important for both the mother and the baby.

To participate in this study, women must be at least 20 years old and in the early stages of pregnancy, between 10 and 15 weeks. However, those who have been diagnosed with any form of diabetes, are taking specific medications that can influence blood sugar, work irregular hours, or are expecting more than one baby are not eligible. If you join this study, you can expect to provide information about your eating habits and possibly receive guidance on how to improve them during your pregnancy. This research could lead to better health outcomes for pregnant women and their babies.
