Study on the Performance of a Machine Learning Algorithm Recognizing and Triaging Large Vessel Occlusions Using Non-contrast CT Scans

This clinical trial is investigating how well a new software called Methinks AI helps doctors recognize and prioritize patients who might be having a stroke. Strokes can be serious medical emergencies, and the goal of this study is to see if this AI tool can improve the way patients are assessed and treated in real-life situations. The trial will compare the performance of Methinks AI with other existing AI tools used in hospitals for stroke imaging.

To participate in this study, individuals need to be at least 22 years old and show signs of having a stroke, whether it’s from a blockage (ischemic) or bleeding (hemorrhagic). Participants will undergo specific imaging tests that help doctors evaluate their condition. This trial is currently not recruiting participants yet, but if you're eligible, you could help researchers understand how this new AI technology might improve stroke care.

Eligibility criteria

• Inclusion Criteria:
• • Subjects with acute neurological symptoms suggestive of Stroke, ischemic or hemorrhagic ("Code Stroke"), regardless of presence or absence of final Stroke diagnosis.
• • Subjects aged 22 years or older.
• • NCCT performed for Code Stroke screening.
• • If the patient does not have a hemorrhage, a CTA (head and neck, performed for Code Stroke screening) should also be performed.
• • NCCT and CTA have been processed by Methinks AI software.
• Exclusion Criteria:
