ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how certain markers in the blood and urine can help predict the severity of outcomes for patients who experience spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage (sSAH), which is a type of bleeding in the brain. The researchers are particularly interested in specific proteins and chemicals that may indicate how well a patient will recover. The trial involves taking blood and urine samples from adult participants at three different times during their hospital stay: 24 hours, 72 hours, and 7 days after diagnosis.
To participate in this study, adults aged 18 and older who have been diagnosed with spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage through imaging tests may be eligible. Unfortunately, younger patients and those with bleeding caused by trauma cannot take part. If you join the study, you'll help researchers learn more about which biomarkers can predict a patient’s recovery, which could lead to better treatments in the future. Your involvement could make a significant difference in understanding this serious condition!
