ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of two different treatments—fascia lata allograft combined with platelet-rich fibrin versus a type of graft called subepithelial connective tissue graft. The goal is to see how well these treatments can improve the periodontal (gum) health around dental implants placed in the upper front teeth area. Researchers will look at important factors like the thickness and width of the gum tissue and the thickness of the bone in front of the implant.

To be eligible for this trial, participants should have thin gums (less than 1 millimeter thick) and at least 2 millimeters of keratinized gingiva, which is the tough tissue around the gums. Good oral hygiene is also important, so participants should be able to maintain their dental care during the study. However, people who smoke, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have poor oral hygiene, or have certain dental issues won't be included. The trial is not yet recruiting, but it aims to help improve dental implant procedures and outcomes for patients in the future.
