ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how effective the HPV vaccine is in preventing high-risk HPV infections among young women and adolescents. The researchers want to find out if receiving 2 doses or fewer of the vaccine can help protect against HPV. They will be enrolling women aged 12 to 45 who are interested in getting a check-up Pap smear. Participants will be divided into two groups: those who test positive for HPV and those who test negative. The study will involve interviews about their health and vaccine history, and some participants may provide urine or self-sampled tests to check for HPV DNA.

To participate, women must be between 12 and 45 years old and agree to undergo an HPV test. They should also be in stable health. However, women who have had a total hysterectomy, received three doses of the HPV vaccine, or have certain medical conditions may not be eligible. Participants can expect to contribute to important research that could help improve HPV prevention for future generations.
