ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of two different teaching methods for training surgical students in simple wound suturing skills. One group of students will learn through Live-Streaming (using a Go-Pro® camera) while the other group will receive traditional Face-to-Face instructions. The main goal is to find out if learning through live-streaming is just as effective as in-person teaching.
To participate, you need to be a surgical clerkship student and willing to volunteer for the study. After a pre-test to assess your initial skills, you will be randomly assigned to either the live-streaming or face-to-face group. Following the training, you will have a week to practice on your own before taking a post-test to see how much you’ve learned. The researchers will compare the results from both groups to determine which teaching method is more effective. If you're interested, this study could provide valuable insights into how we teach important surgical skills!
