ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "Experience Life, Needs and Expectations of Families of Older Polyhandicapped Persons," is looking to understand the experiences of family caregivers who take care of older adults (35 years and older) with severe disabilities, known as polyhandicap. The researchers want to hear from parents and siblings about their feelings, needs, and expectations related to caring for their loved ones. They aim to gather insights that can help improve support for families in similar situations.
To participate in this study, you must be a parent (at least 18 years old) of an individual with severe polyhandicap who is 35 years or older, or a sibling of such a person. Participants will be asked to share their experiences and thoughts in interviews. The study is currently recruiting participants, and everyone involved will be informed about the study's goals and what to expect. Your input could be valuable in enhancing the understanding and support available to families caring for loved ones with complex needs.
