ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a combination of dietary advice and physical activity can help manage blood sugar levels in obese individuals with Type 2 Diabetes. The study takes place at the Algodonera Health Center in Talavera de la Reina, and researchers want to see if these lifestyle changes can improve not just health measurements but also the overall quality of life for participants.
To be eligible for this study, you need to have a diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes and be classified as obese, which means having a body mass index (BMI) over 30. You should also be able to walk to the health center and be able to read and write. If you agree to participate, you'll be asked to sign a consent form. Participants can expect to receive guidance on nutrition and exercise tailored to their needs. However, some people, such as those with certain health conditions or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, won't be able to take part. This study aims to help find better ways to support people living with obesity and diabetes.
