ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a special training device called Biodex can help women who are on hemodialysis and have a condition called osteopenia, which means their bones are weaker than normal. Many of these women experience balance problems, and the trial aims to see if using the Biodex training can improve their balance and overall well-being.
To participate in this trial, women need to be currently undergoing hemodialysis and have osteopenia. Unfortunately, women who are pregnant, have certain autoimmune disorders, or have issues with their legs or psychological conditions cannot join. Those who take part in the trial will likely engage in training sessions using the Biodex device, which may help enhance their balance. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it offers a chance to be part of research that could lead to better care for women facing similar health challenges.
