ClinConnect Summary

The clinical trial titled "Evaluation of Electronic Pregnancy Registers and Mobile Applications for Monitoring Pregnancy Outcomes" (EVAPREAP) is focused on finding better ways to follow up on pregnancy outcomes. This is important to understand how effective new treatments, like a future vaccine for placental malaria, may be. The study will look at the use of electronic pregnancy records and mobile apps to help monitor pregnant women and their health during pregnancy.

If you are a pregnant woman attending an antenatal care (ANC) facility in the study area, you may be eligible to participate. This includes those whose ANC information can be accessed by the facility and health workers who care for pregnant women. Participants will help researchers by sharing their pregnancy information, which will be used to evaluate these new monitoring tools. It's important to know that women who are not receiving care at the study facility or are unable to provide consent will not be included in the trial. Overall, this study aims to improve the care and monitoring of pregnant women, ultimately benefiting future health interventions.
