ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how an online vaccine chatbot can help increase awareness and understanding of the HPV vaccine among female middle school students and their parents in China. The main goal is to see if using this chatbot makes parents more informed about the vaccine and encourages them to vaccinate their daughters. The trial will involve two groups: one group will use the chatbot to ask questions and get instant answers about the HPV vaccine, while the other group will not use the chatbot at all. Researchers will compare the knowledge and vaccination intentions of both groups after a two-week period.

To participate, parents must have a daughter in middle school who has not yet been vaccinated against HPV and does not have any health conditions that would prevent vaccination. The students also need to be able to understand and engage with the study activities. Participants can expect to receive helpful information about the HPV vaccine through the chatbot, which they can access easily on their phones or computers. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it's a great opportunity for parents to learn more about a vaccine that can help protect their daughters from certain cancers.
