ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring two different types of attachments—Locator and TITACH—that help keep dentures in place for people who have lost all their teeth in the lower jaw. The goal is to see which attachment offers better retention, stronger bite force, and less bone loss around the dental implants after the dentures are put in. The study is currently looking for participants who are experiencing problems with the stability of their current dentures and have enough healthy bone in their jaw to support the implants.

To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be completely toothless in the lower jaw and have a certain amount of healthy bone structure, which will be confirmed through a special imaging test. They should also have a specific type of bite relationship that is suitable for the study. However, people with certain health conditions or habits that could affect the success of the implants, like uncontrolled diabetes or smoking, cannot take part. Those who join the trial can expect to receive either the Locator or TITACH attachment and will help researchers understand which option works better for maintaining denture stability and overall oral health.
