ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how well oxygen is delivered to certain areas of the colon in people with vascular lesions, which are abnormal blood vessel growths. The study aims to understand the oxygen levels in the proximal colon, which is the part of the colon closest to the small intestine. The trial is currently recruiting participants aged between 18 and 89 who are scheduled for a routine colonoscopy and have either a history of vascular lesions in the colon or a healthy colon.
To join the study, participants must be within the specified age range and have a standard colonoscopy scheduled. However, those under 18, over 90, or with certain medical conditions, such as specific ulcers or previous colon surgeries, will not be eligible. If you decide to participate, you can expect to undergo normal procedures related to your colonoscopy while contributing to important research that could help improve the understanding of vascular lesions in the colon.
