ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of a special rehabilitation program designed for children aged 5 to 18 who experience urinary incontinence, which is when they unintentionally leak urine. The program includes various components such as education, lifestyle changes, breathing exercises, muscle training, and a home practice plan. Researchers want to see how well this multimodal approach helps children with different types of urinary incontinence, including those who wet the bed at night, those who have daytime accidents, and those who experience both.
To participate, children must be between 5 and 18 years old and diagnosed with urinary incontinence by a pediatric urologist. They should also be able to read and write in Turkish and have a parent or guardian who can provide consent. Throughout the 10-week program, children will attend sessions twice a week, where their urinary symptoms and muscle functions will be assessed using various questionnaires and tests. This trial aims to help understand which aspects of the program work best for different types of urinary issues in children.
