ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how depression during and after pregnancy affects how new mothers feed their babies. Specifically, it aims to understand how a mother's mental health can influence her choices about breastfeeding and introducing solid foods to her baby. If you are a first-time mother over 18 years old and are currently pregnant with no history of repeated pregnancy loss, you may be eligible to participate.
As a participant, you would fill out questionnaires at different times: during your pregnancy, and then again when your baby is 2, 4, and 6 months old. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it's a great opportunity to help researchers learn more about the connection between a mother's mental health and feeding practices for infants. Your involvement could contribute to important findings that may benefit other mothers and babies in the future.
