ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at a treatment called Complex Decongestive Therapy (CDT) to see how well it helps people with venous insufficiency, a condition where the veins have trouble sending blood back to the heart. The study aims to find out if CDT can improve blood flow and reduce symptoms like swelling and discomfort. Participants will be divided into two groups: one group will receive CDT along with exercises, while the other group will only do exercises.

To join the study, participants need to be between 35 and 75 years old and have mild to moderate venous insufficiency. However, those with certain serious health issues or infections will not be eligible. The trial will include around 21 adults in total, with 12 in the CDT group and 9 in the exercise-only group. Throughout the study, participants can expect to be monitored for any changes in their symptoms and overall quality of life. The trial is currently looking for volunteers, so it's a great opportunity for those who meet the criteria and want to help improve treatments for this condition.
