ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the effects of a special fabric sleeve on arm soreness in collegiate baseball players after pitching. It's common for pitchers to experience soreness in their throwing arm, especially in an area called the flexor pronator mass, after games. The study aims to find out if wearing a bioactive fabric sleeve helps reduce this soreness compared to a regular sleeve. The sleeve is designed to potentially improve how the cells in the arm function, which may help with recovery.

To participate in this trial, players must be male members of the Stanford baseball team. There are no specific exclusions, so if you're on the team, you might be eligible to take part. If you join, you can expect to wear either the bioactive sleeve or a control sleeve after games and report on your soreness the next day. This research could provide valuable insights into better recovery methods for athletes during the baseball season.
