ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, run by the Recovery Resource Council (RRC) in North Texas, is studying whether offering financial incentives can help veterans complete their therapy sessions. Specifically, the trial will look at how giving veterans gift cards worth up to $1,500 for finishing their counseling sessions affects their attendance and overall mental health. Veterans who agree to participate will be randomly placed in one of two groups: one group will receive the usual counseling, while the other will earn gift cards for completing specific sessions.

To be eligible for this study, participants must be at least 18 years old, have veteran status, and be willing to share their Social Security number and an active email address. They also need to agree to participate voluntarily. It’s important to note that RRC will only include veterans who are already eligible for their counseling services. Throughout the study, researchers will track attendees' mental health improvement using simple questionnaires. This trial not only aims to enhance therapy attendance but also seeks to understand how these incentives might influence veterans' mental well-being.
