ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how well patients recover after laparoscopic cholecystectomy, which is a surgery to remove the gallbladder. The researchers want to compare two different time frames—4 hours and 24 hours after surgery—using a scoring system that helps determine when a patient is ready to go home safely. This scoring system looks at various recovery factors to ensure patients feel well enough to be discharged.
To participate in this trial, you must be between 20 and 60 years old and undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy. You should also be classified as having a low to moderate health risk according to a specific medical rating system. During the study, participants will have their recovery monitored at both 4 and 24 hours after their surgery. This research aims to provide better guidelines for when patients can safely leave the hospital, which could help improve recovery experiences for future patients.
